extreme sport (plural extreme sports)

  1. Any sport taking place at potentially dangerous speeds or heights, or involving a high level of physical exertion, highly specialized gear, or spectacular stunts.
    Base-jumping is called an extreme sport, but I think it should be called an insane sport.
